Larrivee L03 Recording Series Natural

Part of their recording series, the Larrivee L03 is an American made instrument with excellent craftsmanship, tone and value.

Back in the early seventies a young Jean-Claude Larrivee created the L body shape which has become a staple of the Larrivee guitar line. This body shape is similar to a classical body shape and features a Symmetrical Parabolic X-Bracing pattern. This helps to provide an exceptionally well balanced instrument with great sustain and dynamics, and these characteristics are in evidence with the Larrivee L03.

Over the last forty years the L Body design has been embraced by professional and serious amateur musicians around the world as possibly the most versatile flattop steel string guitar design in our business.

The Larrivee L03 features a classic tone wood pairing of Sitka Spruce and Khaya or African Mahogany. The Sitka spruce top has excellent dynamics and a great balance of warmth and crisp top end. The mahogany sides and back have an accentuated midrange push which adds warmth and a woody tonal character.

Because of its versatility and well balanced tone the Larrivee L03 works really well for fingerstyle playing, strumming and flatpicking.

The Larrivee L03 is also available in a Rosewood version, the Larrivee L03R.
