The Eastman E10 OM is a smaller orchestra sized body guitar which features a classic wood pairing of Adirondack spruce on the top and mahogany sides and back. Adirondack spruce has a high ceiling for volume and tone production which means you can dig in with your picking hand and really drive the top. This balances well with the accentuated midrange warmth of the mahogany sides and back and provides some extra top end bite. Fingerstyle and light to medium strumming really bring out the voice of this instrument!
The neck shape on the Eastman E10 OM is a traditional Even C shape which has more mass then some of the slimmer modern guitar necks but most players will not find it too cumbersome. The satin finish on the back of the mahogany neck feels really smooth and your hand doesn’t stick as you move up and down the fretboard.
The body is framed by a simple black binding which matches the ebony fretboard and bridge. Open gear tuners help to complete the traditional style aesthetics.
The Eastman E10 OM is an excellent value for any player looking for simple traditional looks and a warm balanced tone!
