Here we have a 2007 Mesa Mark 1 Reissue amp, built at the Mesa Engineering plant in Petaluma, California and sporting a creme tolex covering and basket weave grille cloth. It’s in good overall condition, switchable between 100 and 60 watts, has an effects loop, a 12 inch Black Shadow speaker and a set of small wheels. The wheels are a very welcome addition.
The Mesa Boogie Mark 1 was an unexpectedly significant amplifier. Blending a hot-rodded Fender Bassman circuit and 12 inch JBL speaker into a Fender Princeton chassis and cabinet, Randall Smith created an immediate hit. These amps quickly became the choice of guitarists like Carlos Santana and Keith Richards, and countless more since the early days.
The manual for the Mesa Boogie Mark 1 Reissue can be read at this link.
