The Airline Tuxedo is based on the Kay Barney Kessel guitar from the mid 1950’s. It’s really quite a good design, and this example is in exceptional condition. |

| Body | Hollow body, flat top and slightly arched back. Flame maple laminate on top and back, mahogany for the sides. No soundholes, for feedback resistance. |
| Finish | Gloss Red sunburst on top, black elsewhere. Really good condition. |
| Hardware/electronics | All original with high-output P-90 type pickups with individual volume and tone controls and pickup selector switch. Chrome plated Wilkinson open-style tuners, Tune-o-matic type bridge, trapeze tailpiece. |
