Built around 2010 in Toronto, this Yanuziello Mandolin illustrates why Joseph Yanuziello’s instruments are sought after. Hand built of high quality materials, these are very well made, play extremely well and sound great. Originally quartered in Toronto, in 2011, Yanuziello moved to the Niagara Peninsula, near Wainfleet, Ontario.
This example is in overall good condition, with light fretwear. The greatest indication of aging on this instrument is the headstock decal, which is slightly chipped. The top is a lovely flamed maple, the chambered back is likely mahogany. The neck is mahogany with a bound rosewood fingerboard. The pickup is a Lindy Fralin mini-humbucker with a custom cover. The original hardshell case is included.
