Here’s a spectacular David Wren Concert steel string guitar, built in 2010 using Brazilian Rosewood and bearclaw Sitka Spruce, with an ebony fingerboard and bridge. This slightly older model features a soundport on the upper bass bout. As usual with David Wren’s work, the construction is extremely clean and tight. Even the parts you wouldn’t normally see received the same level of attention as the visible exterior.

This guitar is in overall good condition, but its relatively low price – for a guitar built with Brazilian Rosewood – reflects some work that was recently done in our repair shop. It’s had some back dryness cracks repaired and touched up. The guitar has been re-humidified and the wood stabilized. The original Ameritage case is included.
