Built in Richmond, Quebec but now discontinued, the Godin Summit Classic is a straight ahead, serious rock machine based on a chambered mahogany body with maple cap, and sporting a new Desert Blue lightly metallic finsh. Pickups are Bare Knuckle Mule humbuckers, with a selector switch and single volume and tone control.
This is a very nice guitar to play, delivering everything expected from this style of instrument. It’s well balanced with lots of resonance and sustain, plays cleanly and tunes smoothly right out of the box. The Bare Knuckle pickups are made in the UK, and aim to reproduce late 1950’s PAF tones. A hard-shell case is included.
