In their first years of production, all National guitars were tri-cone models. Soon, it became necessary to offer single cone models, and this resulted in the 1928 National Triolian, first made with Polychrome Yellow finishes as reproduced in this metal body ‘Palm Yellow’ model from 2010.

This National Triolian Polychrome Features A Metal Body With Flat- Cut F-Holes

This National Triolian Polychrome features a metal body with flat-cut F-holes, a 12 fret neck, maple fingerboard, and of course the ‘Palm Yellow’ finish. It’s got that unmistakable National sound, a brash yet warm, full tone that is pretty loud and projects well. It’s in very good condition with just slight wear, and comes with the original National hard shell arched top case.
