The Godin 5th Avenue Jazz is aimed squarely at the jazz guitarist using amplification, using an arched, laminated top and back with a single neck-mount mini humbucker. The design is classic and straight ahead.
Made in Canada at Godin’s Princeville, Quebec shop during 2013, this example is in very good condition. It sports a natural finish over white maple, with ebony for the fingerboard, headplate and bridge. A trapeze tailpiece, open-gear tuners and single volume and tone controls round out the hardware. It plays very nicely, and certainly gets the job done.
A black Taylor hard-shell case is included.
