The new Performing Artist line from Martin Guitars has made a real splash into their already comprehensive line up of guitars. These instruments feature all the quality and good looks  you come to expect from Martin with a few new twists aimed at the gigging musician. The Performing Artist neck profile has a little less mass and a flatter shape  than Martins standard low profile neck. This  super smooth feel will appeal to fans of smaller neck profiles and help ease hand fatigue for those long sets. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret and the venetian style cutaway provides excellent access to the upper frets. The on board Fishman F1 Aura pickup system has everything a performer could want including a built in tuner all in a two button and small screen package which helps retain the sleek aesthetic appeal of these guitars. This example is in excellent shape and comes with the original hardshell case.
