Here’s something unusual! A 1967 Deep Green Guild Starfire XII in good playing condition, though the finish is worn. Guild introduced the Starfire in 1960 as a thinline semi-hollow single cutaway guitar. By 1963, the double-cutaway Starfire IV was introduced.
MORE →This is a very clean 1998 Martin D-28 Dreadnought guitar. Martin introduced the Dreadnought body shape in 1916, building the first ones for the Oliver Ditson company – these did not carry the Martin brand name. These instruments had mahogany backs and sides, and the necks joined the body at the twelfth fret. The Ditson company disappeared in 1920, and the Dreadnought guitar went with it.
