For a brief period in the early 1990s, Ramirez Guitars offered a model called the Ramirez SP (Semi-Professional). In the early 1990s I received several of these SP guitars: fitted with simple Estudio labels but marked with the letters SP. They were clearly FAR superior to any Estudio guitar and the woods and interior bracing suggest that they were a variation on the 1a Professional Especial model.

Here is a lovely 1984 Fender DAquisto Standard Archtop Black. In late 1983, in a co-operative effort with James D’Aquisto, Fender introduced the single-cutaway, fully hollow D’Aquisto Archtop as part of the Master Series. The Fender D’Aquisto models include the Elite (with one pickup and gold hardware) and the Standard (two pickups and chrome hardware).

It is basically two systems, a rack-mount processor bolted under a controller board. This means that the processing unit can be removed and installed in a rack for permanent mount in a studio.
