Fender 57 Strat Journeyman Relic Sherwood Green, 2016

With the Fender 57 Strat Journeyman Relic, a ‘standard’ ’57 Reissue Stratocaster receives the ‘Journeyman Relic’ treatment – used, but not abused. This excellent condition example sports a Sherwood Green finish and its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is dated 3/30/16, March 30th 2016. These are Fender Custom Shop models, built in Corona California.

Fender Precision Jazz Bass Modified, 1965

Part of Leo Fender’s genius can be seen in how easy it is to modify his instruments without compromising their ability to function, even enhancing it. This 1965 Fender Precision Jazz bass, built just after CBS took ownership of Fender, was modified long ago to extend a Precision Bass with Fender Jazz Bass tones.

Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Sport HH Tremolo Sunburst, 2001

Built during 2001, this Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Sport HH Tremolo features a sunburst finish with matching headstock. The Axis line was introduced in 1996 as a double-cutaway offset solidbody of a Maple cap on Basswood. It is equipped with the Floyd Rose double locking trem system.

Here we’re looking at an Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Classic 4 bass with a figured Maple neck and likely an Ash body, covered with a black poly finish. This example dates to December 22nd, 2014 and was built at St. Luis Opisbo, CA. It is in overall good condition.

Fender Highway One Stratocaster Honey Blonde, 2002

Here is a first run Fender Highway One Stratocaster wearing a Honey Blonde finish and built during 2002 in Corona, California. Introduced in July of 2002 and built to June of 2006, the Fender Highway One series features an Alder body with light satin lacquer finish, and a satin polyurethane finish neck with 22 frets and a 9.25 inch radius, rolled-edge fingerboard.

Music Man Stingray Bass Walnut, 1979

Introduced in 1976, the Music Man Stingray bass quickly established itself as an alternative to the dominant Fender basses – partly due to one of its key designers being Leo Fender himself! Music Man was formed in 1974, having first been named Tri-Sonix in 1971 and then MusiTek. It was a partnership between electronics designer Tom Walker and former Fender executive Forrest White with Leo Fender as a silent partner – until 1975, Leo was still bound to a non-compete clause in his sale of Fender to CBS.
