Collings CJ35 GSB Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Sunburst, 2013

The Collings CJ35 GSB is a spectacular guitar, evoking the looks feel and tone of generally unavailable vintage pieces – but with very high build and finish quality. This 2013 example is in great condition with very little wear of any kind, and is sold with its original Collings branded hard shell case. The Collings CJ35 is normally built with a Sitka Spruce top, but here as noted in the ‘GSB’ part of the name, German Spruce was chosen for the top, and there’s a traditional dark Sunburst finish.

Collings CW Indian A Dreadnought, 2009

Here is a Collings CW Indian A Dreadnought steel string guitar dating to 2009 and in great shape. The ‘CW’ stands for Collings Winfield after the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. This guitar is built for serious flat-pickers. Based on the classic D-28 design, the Collings CW Indian A features an Adirondack Spruce top with oversize soundhole to produce more clean volume when played hard.

Collings 01 Steel String Sunburst Guitar, 2014

The Collings 01 is based on the small body ‘single 0’ design introduced by C F Martin around 1898, and still a popular model in several trim and material grades. The 01 roughly maps to the 0-18, classed as a ‘Parlor Guitar’. Following a traditional pattern, the Collings 01 is built using a combination of a top grade Sitka Spruce top and braces, Mahogany for the rest of the body and neck, and Ebony for the head plate, fingerboard and bridge.

Collings Orchestra Model OM1 Natural, 2008

Drawing from a classic 1930s design, the Collings Orchestra Model OM1 is ideal for finger stylists and flatpickers alike. This Collings Orchestra Model OM1 dates to 2008 and is in good condition, with great action and a good neck set. This model is built using the pairing of a Sitka Spruce top with Tropical Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the bridge fingerboard and head plate.

Collings 0002H 12 Fret Steel String Guitar, 2011

The Collings 0002H is a 12-fret neck model combining the larger 000 size Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood body with a fairly long 25.5 inch (647.7mm) scale length. Here we’re looking at a pristine Collings 0002H, built during 2011 at the Collings shop in Austin, Texas. The design dates to 1902, and has clearly proven its worth. It pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood for the sides and back, with the top surrounded with Herringbone purfling.
