The National Raw Steel 12 is built like other models with steel bodies and single 9.5 inch resonator cone, but is visually distinct with its retro ‘Chickenfoot’ style cover plate and new finish. This finish can ‘work’ a bit better than the highly polished and reflective surface on the more expensive models, as in not showing smudges as easily.

Also available in a 14-fret model and Raw Steel finish. The National Raw Brass Resophonic guitar is built like other models with steel bodies and single 9.5 inch resonator cone, but is visually distinct with its retro ‘Chickenfoot’ style cover plate and new finish. This finish can ‘work’ a bit better than the highly polished and reflective surface on the more expensive models, meaning that it won’t show smudges as easily.

Here’s an unusual instrument for the Goth bluegrass enthusiast – a Deering Goodtime Blackgrass 5-String banjo, in black with chromed tension hooks! Introduced in early Spring 2019, the Deering Goodtime Blackgrass is based closely on the Goodtime resonator models. The construction is all Maple, sourced in North America. The fingerboard is black-stained Maple and the rest of the instrument has a satin Black finish. These instruments are built in the USA, in the same Spring Valley are of San Diego where top-end Deering banjos are made.

Here is a used Messer Blues 12 Blueburst in great condition, dating to 2019 and in nearly new condition with the original rigid padded lightweight case! This Messer Blues 12 Blueburst example is in great, nearly new condition with the original ultralite case. Michael Messer is a well known English guitarist, who has over the years focused on steel and slide guitars.
