Ibanez AM-70 Artist Compact Thinline Black, 1985

Here’s a great condition Ibanez AM-70 Artist Compact Thinline Archtop in Black finish, dating to 1985, its first year. This model was only built until 1987. With proportions somewhat like the Gibson ES-339 models, the Ibanez AM-70 is a scaled down version of the classic ES-335 style models. The top, back and sides are laminate Birch with a Maple center block. The neck is 3-piece Maple with a bound Indian Rosewood fingerboard.

Fintan McEnroe MC18 F-Style Mandolin Sunburst, 2023

Here we have the brand-new Fintan McEnroe MC18 F-style mandolin from Fintan McEnroe, working in Toronto but originally from Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan, Ireland. The ‘18’ in the name refers to the mandolin serial number and production sequence. This fine instrument was very recently finished, in August of 2023.

Ramirez 1a Flamenco Blanca Guitar, 1969

Ramirez 1a flamenco guitars are built in the traditional Spanish style at the ‘home’ workshop. The guitar centers on a ‘slipper foot’ neck to body joint, with the sides fitting into slots cut into the heel block. The body pairs a Spruce top with Cypress back and sides – a very light wood in terms of weight and colouring, also providing a lot of brightness to the tone.

Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS Sienna, 2015

This Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS features a ShawBucker paired with two Custom Shop Fat 50’s, and a Sienna Burst Ash body. Dating to February of 2015 and built in Corona, California, this very well preserved example is a very comfortable, versatile guitar that covers most musical bases.

Here we have a very nicely preserved Santa Cruz OM Pre-War model in its stock configuration, pairing a Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood for the back and sides. This lovely piece is in great shape with only light wear to the finish and negligible fret wear.

Here is another fine and unusual guitar, a Kolya Panhuyzen Maple Body Classical model built in Toronto, Canada during 1987. Kolya Panhuyzen grew up around classical guitar construction and worked with his uncle, Edgar Monch, in both Germany and Toronto.
