Larrivee D-40R Rosewood Dreadnought Satin Natural, 2016

Still in production as part of the ‘Legacy’ series, the Larrivee D-40R is an expression of the classic Rosewood Dreadnought. Dating to March 4th 2016 and built at Oxnard California, this Larrivee D-40R is in very good, clean condition with only light wear, primarily light fret wear in the low positions.

Gibson J-15 Spruce and Walnut Natural, 2015

The Gibson J-15 was introduced in 2014 by the Acoustic shop in Bozeman, Montana and is still in production. Based on the classic and very successful slope-shouldered dreadnought body used for the J-45 and J-50, the Gibson J-15 pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Black Walnut for the sides and back, and has a Maple neck with Indian Rosewood for the bridge and unbound fingerboard.

Collings D2H-ASB Adirondack Sunburst Dreadnought, 2011

One of the best examples of the Dreadnought design available, this Collings D2H-ASB Adirondack Sunburst is in very good, clean condition, built during 2011 in Austin, Texas. This D2H-ASB model features Adirondack Spruce for the top and bracing, East Indian Rosewood for the sides, back and head plate, Honduran Mahogany for the body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the bridge and fingerboard.

Martin D-35 Dreadnought Steel String Natural, 1968

Introduced in 1965 and still in production, the Martin D-35 Dreadnought design addressed a practical issue – tighter wood supplies. Demand for the very popular D-28 model was high but the larger sections of Rosewood – Brazilian, at the time – were in short supply.

Taylor 810 Dreadnought Steel String Natural, 1996

The Taylor 810 Dreadnought Steel String first appeared in 1975 was discontinued around 2015 in the shift to the 810e, a very similar model with the ES2 pickup system. The 810e itself was discontinued just a few years ago. The 810 is roughly equivalent to the classic Martin D-28 model.

Collings D42 Adirondack/Brazilian, Varnish Finish, 2008

Here is a rare beauty – built in 2008, a custom Collings D42 with AAA Adirondack top, Brazilian Rosewood for the sides, back and head plate, an antiqued Varnish finish and a classic ’42’ Torch style inlay set. The body blocks and neck are Honduran Mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are Ebony.
