Daniel Roberts Minstrel Sunburst, 2015

The Daniel Roberts Minstrel is a rare sight and is based on a late 40’s Gibson LG-2, mid-sized steel string guitar. Extremely well built and in excellent condition, this example dates to mid-2015. Like a 40’s LG-2, the Daniel Roberts Minstrel uses a Spruce top, here of reclaimed, century old Sitka. When the LG-2 replaced the L-00 in 1942, Sitka Spruce was being used in place of Adirondack, as that wood was marked for war production.

Gretsch White Penguin 58 Reissue G6134, 2016

The Gretsch White Penguin 58 Reissue, officially model G6134, re-creates the 1958 Bigsby-equipped version of the Jet-based Penguin. The White Penguin was created in response to the Gretsch White Falcon, itself created as a showpiece for the 1954 NAMM show and not intended for production.

The Martin D-41 Dreadnought Centennial commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first Dreadnought guitars, built by Martin for the Charles H. Ditson company. For this anniversary, a number of Dreadnought models were produced in limited numbers. Named for what was then the largest warship ever built – the 1906 HMS Dreadnought – the first Martin / Ditson Dreadnoughts were so large and produced so much bass that it might have been marketed as a bass guitar.

Breedlove Premier Parlor Guitar Spruce and Mahogany, 2016

This Breedlove Premier Parlor Guitar is paired with a Sitka top and Mahogany for the back and sides, was built during 2016 in Bend, Oregon. This discontinued, lovely small bodied guitar is in very good, clean condition and has a full, well balanced tone with plenty of sparkle and warmth. It plays very nicely and is a real sonic pleasure to play.

Chipman Vintage Parlor Guitar Mahogany, 2017

This Chipman Vintage Parlor Guitar was built during 2017 at Steve Chipman’s shop in Chester, Vermont using a Martin 12-fret body mold and 12-fret neck from a budget model 50’s United brand parlor. The Chipman Vintage Parlor Guitar company focuses on rebuilding, restoring and repairing these small older instruments.

Ibanez GB10 George Benson Model Sunburst, 2005

This Ibanez GB10 George Benson model was built during 2005 for Ibanez by FujiGen Gakki at Matsumoto in the Nagano province of Japan. While most of the GB10’s have been built by FujiGen, during the 1980’s some were built by Terada. The Ibanez George Benson GB10 has been in production since 1977 along with other versions of the model, and they are as practical as when introduced.
