Built during 2019 in Toronto, this William Laskin Flamenco Blanca guitar features a Spruce top, Cypress for the sides and back and Spanish Cedar for the body blocks and neck. The head plate and fingerboard are Ebony, and the bridge is Indian Rosewood. The rosette combines Laskin’s traditional mosaic pattern with two rings of Abalone or similar shell – subtle and attractive.

Nechville Leon Hunt Phantom Banjo Maple, 2012

The Nechville Leon Hunt Phantom Banjo, while not a ‘formal’ Nechville model, is based on the Nechville Phantom XXV (Phantom 25). It uses all the Nechville Phantom elements plus very highly figured maple for the neck and resonator (rather than the stock figured walnut construction), with a slight walnut tint to the finish.

The Gibson RB-250 Mastertone was the working-musician’s banjo for decades and offers that classic Gibson sound with the “Snap” to the treble attack that only Gibsons have. This is essentially the same banjo as the famous Gibson RB-3 without the Wreath inlay.

Martin 000C Steve Miller Pegasus, 2005

Here is a fairly rare item – a Martin 000C Steve Miller Pegasus Signature Edition, in great shape and with a very good, rich voice and minimal wear. This example has been lightly played, with corresponding light fret and finish wear. Offered during 2005 in a run of 383 instruments, the Martin 000C Steve Miller Pegasus Signature Edition featured a venetian-cutaway body of Englemann Spruce top with lightly scalloped hybrid bracing, lightly quilted Mahogany for the sides and back, OM-width bound Ebony fingerboard on a Mahogany neck, and an alternative Torch inlay from 1902 at the peghead.
