This is an Epiphone Elitist Byrdland in natural finish, built during 2008 at the Terada plant near Nagoya. This plant builds many top quality instruments, including much of the Gretsch pro-line guitars. This guitar is in very good condition, and seems to be entirely original and in excellent condition with very little wear of any kind.

Here is a little bit of Canadian Luthiery history – a T.D. Hibbs SM-01 Selmer or ‘Maccaferri’, Gypsy Jazz style steel string guitar, quite possibly one of Hibb’s last, apparently built in late 2009. T.D. Hibbs was a woodworker, woodworking instructor and trained musician in the Cambridge, Ontario area.

The late, great Chet Atkins was long associated with Gretsch guitars with many classic models bearing his name. However, after Gretsch ceased production as its parent Baldwin approached bankruptcy, Gibson sought his endorsement and a number of Gibson Chet Atkins models appeared. This included the Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean, built from 1990 to 2005 in Nashville.

This beautiful 1935 Gibson Super 400 Sunburst with McCarty Pickguard guitar has a history – it is one of the guitars that the late Ed Bickert used before settling on his Telecaster. This example dates to 1935 and was built at the historic Parsons Street plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. 88 years old at time of writing, it is in overall good and completely playable condition.

This a Larrivee LV-05E Lefty in very good, clean condition. Part of the Select Series, this model pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the sides, back and neck, with Ebony for the bridge and fingerboard. This model includes a factory stock L R Baggs pickup and pre-amp set; power is provided by a standard 9v battery placed on the neck block.
