  Gibson F-4 Oval Hole Mandolin Sunburst, 1916

Built from 1902 to 1934, the Gibson F-4 Oval Hole F-Style mandolin was the top of the line until 1922 when Lloyd Loar introduced the F-hole F-5 model. Both models were then built until 1943, when WW2 interrupted production. The Gibson F-4 and F-5 paired an Adirondack Spruce top with a carved figured Maple back.

The Fender American Deluxe Telecaster was built from 2004 to 2010 and sat at the top of the Telecaster lineup for that period. The American Deluxe models included a number of modern updates, including medium-jumbo frets, a comfortable six-saddle bridge, and Samarium-Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) pickups with an S1 switch.

The Yamaha BB-N5A Nathan East was built from about 1995 to 2000, seen here in the 5-string fretless version. Like so many successful guitars and basses, the BB model (standing for Broad Bass) draws from the designs by Leo Fender, with a Maple neck bolted to a solid body.

Here we’re looking at a BC Rich Mockingbird Bass from 1980, in largely original and complete condition and with active electronics. Introduced in 1976 and built until 2009 through a number of company ownership changes, the BC Rich Mockingbird Bass featured neck-through construction, dramatic body styling, a Badass bridge made by Leo Quan, two sets of DiMarzio model P pickups, and custom active electronics designed in-house by Neal Moser.

The Gibson ES-175T is based on the classic full bodied ES175, but with sides just over half the thickness. This model appeared in Gibson Catalogs from 1976 to 1979. Before being discontinued, approximately 333 were shipped in the Natural finish seen here, Wine Red, and Sunburst.

The Martin 00-18v draws from a design introduced in 1877 and in continuous production to the current day. This example was ordered through the Custom Shop and dates to 2012 and sports the ‘Ambertone’ finish treatment over a scalloped-brace Adirondack Spruce top, Mahogany body and Mod-V profile neck, Ebony fingerboard and through-saddle bridge.
