Collings MT A-Style Mandolin Gloss Top Sunburst, 2006

The Collings MT A-Style mandolin is the entry point for Collings mandolins, and its lack of decoration doesn’t hide the quality of the instrument or the care with which it was built. This 2006 model sports a satin finish with the ‘Gloss Top’ option, and an ebony arm-rest. The A-Style mandolin appeared in the closing days of the 19th century as part of Orville Gibson’s revolutionary introduction of violin making principles to mandolin construction.

Fender American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster Sunburst, 2009

Here’s something special that we don’t see every day – a Fender Nashville B-Bender Telecaster®, factory stock with the Parsons-Green B Bender! Originally designed by Gene Parsons and Clarence White in 1968, the B-Bender installs to a significantly modified Telecaster body. A large amount of wood is removed from the back of the body to accommodate a set of levers, springs and linkages from the upper strap pin to a roller behind the B string saddle

Danocaster Single Cut T-Style Shell Pink, 2010

Here’s a Danocaster Single Cut, T-Style guitar in a Shell Pink nitro finish with an original Peter Florance Voodoo TE60 pickup set, Tele at the bridge and P90 at the neck. This is a very well built guitar that plays wonderfully and has a fantastic sound.

Larrivee L-11 Steel String Guitar Natural, 1978

The Larrivee L-11 Steel String guitar features Larrivee’s ‘L’ body, a blend of traditional classical guitar and Dreadnought proportions. The result is a very well balanced tonal palette. For the Larrivee L-11, the top and its bracing are Sitka Spruce, paired with Indian Rosewood for the sides, back, body binding, and head plate.

Huss and Dalton FS Steel String Guitar Natural, 2010

While the majority of the guitars we see are based on historically established designs, models like the Huss and Dalton FS break newer ground in adapting to modern player requirements. Here we’re looking at a Huss and Dalton FS, cutaway for upper register access, with Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck with bound Ebony fingerboard, and Ebony bridge.

Fender Stratocaster Refinish Fiesta Red, 1961

Seen here is a Fender Stratocaster Refinish in Fiesta Red, the body and neck built during 1961 in Fullerton California. It looks rather like a ‘Hank Marvin’ Stratocaster; when the Shadows were at their peak, many Strats in the UK were refinished in Fiesta Red, often by the official Fender distributor who could not get enough stock of that colour.
