Stonebridge G24SR Steel String Guitar Natural, 2006

The Stonebridge G24SR, built at the Furch guitar shops at Velké Němčice in the Czech Republic, is based on a cutaway Grand Concert body design pairing Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood. Frantisek Furch has been building guitars and other musical instruments for decades, and as opportunities opened up in the Czech Republic, moved to full time instrument building. The “Stonebridge” name refers to the Charles Bridge in Prague. Furch’s guitars are well regarded and played by many throughout Europe, and are moving into North America with the Stonebridge Guitars International distribution company based in Kitchener, Ontario Canada.

Gibson CS336 Thinline Compact Archtop Faded Cherry, 2004

Introduced in late 2001 and built until 2010, the Gibson CS336 is based on a scaled-down ES-335, but there are some significant differences. The body blends a carved, two piece solid Maple top with a solid piece of Mahogany, shaped and routed to provide the inner resonant chambers and the solid center block. In the ES-335 design, the top, sides and back are built traditionally using Maple laminate, with a solid Maple center block added. On this model, the bound fingerboard is Indian Rosewood with dot position markers.

The Martin 000-28EC signature model is based on the guitar Eric Clapton used for an historic performance. On 16 January 1992, Eric Clapton performed for a small audience at Bray Film Studios in Windsor England. This iconic performance for the MTV Unplugged TV series would spawn an accompanying album that would become his best selling with 26 million copies worldwide. His guitar of choice was the Martin 000-28.

Gibson 1963 Historic ES335 Block Reissue Cherry, 2018

The 1963 Gibson ES335 Block Reissue re-creates the early 1960s revision of the groundbreaking ES-335 thinline models, in particular the version used in Cream by Eric Clapton. Built as a limited edition historic reissue, the Gibson ES335 Block Reissue is as close as most people can get to the originals. This example was built at the Gibson Nashville plant during 2018, and is in excellent condition with virtually no wear.
