Yamaha LL-25T Steel String Guitar Amber Top, 1985

Built from 1985 to 1991, the Yamaha LL-25T Steel String guitar is based on Yamaha’s ‘Folk’ jumbo body, with solid wood construction. This model features an Engelman spruce top, Indian rosewood for the sides and back, herringbone trim on the top, sides, back and back strip, with ebony for the bridge and bound fingerboard.

The Yamaha GC20A was built as part of Yamaha’s Grand Concert line, reflecting their desire to create top quality classical guitars. This effort was made with the assistance of celebrated Spanish luthier Eduardo Ferrer, who travelled to Japan repeatedly to instruct and supervise a small group of Yamaha craftsmen.
