Gibson Les Paul R9 ‘Real Feel’ 16 of 25, Burst 2003

Gibson Les Paul R9 'Real Feel' 16 of 25, Burst 2003

This Gibson Les Paul R9 ‘Real Feel’ very rare instrument is in very good condition, with light wear. As these replicate the original, relatively thin nitrocellulose lacquer finishes, there is an amount of natural, expected finish sinking into the pores of the Mahogany back and neck, and light belt buckle or jean-rivet marking in an expected area on the back.

This example dates to 1964, with the square shoulders and three-point pickguard. The top is Spruce, with mahogany for the back, sides and fingerboard, with Rosewood for the fingerboard and adjustable bridge.
