Gibson J-45 Sunburst Steel String Guitar, 1952

Gibson J-45 Sunburst Steel String Guitar, 1952

The Gibson J-45 has been a guitarist’s choice almost since its introduction. Though its tonal representation isn’t always the most harmonically complete, it has a warm, enveloping sound that works extremely well accompanying a singer.

Gibson Les Paul Standard Tobacco Sunburst, 2000

Gibson Les Paul Standard Tobacco Sunburst, 2000

The Gibson Les Paul Standard has endured decades of use, in and out of fashion, and has remained one of the guitarist’s workhorse designs. Using a maple cap on a mahogany body, with mahogany for the neck and rosewood for the fingerboard, the Les Paul Standard can deliver a tone covering the full spectrum.

Gibson Firebird T Vintage Sunburst 2017

Gibson Firebird T Vintage Sunburst 2017

This new Gibson Firebird T Vintage Sunburst  – The Twelfth Fret is one of the best renditions of the model that I’ve seen,  with great build quality and changes to the hardware that improve the instrument as a whole.
The very first versions of the Firebird appeared in 1963 and used a neck-through-body design. In this design, the neck was one piece of wood extending the full length of the instrument.

Gibson ES-300 1946 Sunburst Electric Archtop Guitar

Gibson ES-300 1946 Sunburst Electric Archtop Guitar

The Gibson ES-300 was built from 1940 to 1952 as Gibson’s premiere electric guitar, but production halted during WW2 and restarted in 1946. Originally built with all solid woods, on its reintroduction the sides and back were normally laminates, as these resist feedback, an important issue with amplification.
