Gibson Firebird V Tobacco Sunburst, 2013

Here’s a very nice Gibson Firebird V in Tobacco Sunburst, built during 2013 at Nashville, Tennessee and sporting Steinberger locking, gearless tuners in place of the original Kluson banjo models. Firebirds are one of my favourite models, and this one is very resonant and lively. As a bonus, the lighter Steinberger locking tuners help with the guitar’s balance.

Gibson Les Paul Classic GoldTop, 2005

This Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960 Reissue sporting in GoldTop finish and ‘1960’ stamped creme pick guard, is built during 2005 at the Nashville plant. Built to refer to the 1960 version of the Les Paul Standard, the 2005 Les Paul Classic features a slim taper neck and very little weight relief.

Gibson ’59 Reissue VOS Les Paul Sunburst, 2010

This Gibson ’59 Reissue VOS Les Paul with Faded Cherry Sunburst dates to 2010 and is in very good condition with a very comfortable weight. As a VOS ‘Vintage Original Specification’ model, it closely follows the construction methods, dimensions, look and feel of the originals.

Jerry Jones Neptune 12-String Copper, 2007

Here we’re looking at a Jerry Jones Neptune 12 built during 2007 at the Jones plant in Nashville. It wears a lovely copper finish, and in all original, very good clean condition. It plays well, and the neck is wide enough to allow easy clean chording.

Gibson Les Paul Studio 120th Anniversary Wine Red, 2014

The Gibson Les Paul Studio, introduced in 1983, delivers what’s needed and is one of the best values in the Les Paul lineup. Built in 2014 for the anniversary year, this 120th Anniversary model sports a Wine Red stain under a light Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish and is in very good, clean condition with negligible wear.

Gibson Explorer Ebony, 2016

The Gibson Explorer was one of three radical new designs introduced in 1958, along with the Flying V, which made it into production, and the Moderne, which existed only in prototype. Despite best hopes, sales were poor and the models were discontinued in 1963. However, by the mid 1970’s musical tastes caught up to these 1958 models and they were re-introduced to production.
