Martin D-41 Dreadnought Natural, 2000

Here we have a fairly rare item; though the Martin D-41 is a production model, they are not common and delivery times for new models can be lengthy. This example dates to August of 2000 and was built at Nazareth, PA.
The Martin D-41 is based on the classic, proven square-shouldered Martin Dreadnought design, and carries the ’41’ grade appointments- abalone for the purfling around the soundhole and top but not the fingerboard tag, C. F. Martin logo and hexagonal position markers.

The Martin D-18 Dreadnought is one of the truly iconic guitars and its popularity has also made it one of the most copied. Originally designed to compete with instruments like banjos on unamplified bandstands, its somewhat bass-biased tone makes it ideal as a rhythm instrument, while the Mahogany back and sides add high end sparkle for fingerstyle.

Martin D-18 Dreadnought Natural, 2013

With a design dating back to 1917, the Martin D-18 Dreadnought has been one of the bases of the Martin line since its official launch in 1931. The Martin D-18 Dreadnought shares a number of core design elements with all other Martin Dreadnoughts, a large body with Mahogany neck. What changes from model to model is the wood selection and appointments.

The Martin 000-28EC Eric Clapton model is based on the guitar Eric Clapton used for an historic performance. This example dates to September of 2001 and is in overall good clean condition with minor play wear. Fret wear is light to moderate in the low positions, and there is plenty of fret life remaining. On 16 January 1992, Eric Clapton performed for a small audience at Bray Film Studios in Windsor England.

The Martin OM-42 is a fantastic guitar, based on the classic and very successful OM or Orchestra Model introduced in the very early 1930’s as banjo players migrated to guitar. It is extremely well-balanced and quite loud – an excellent choice for both fingerstyle and flatpicking, in both solo and ensemble contexts.
