Here’s a real beauty – a Collings I35DLXS Thinline Custom with a carved, solid Flame Maple top and single Lollar Imperial pickup in the neck position. This wonderful example was originally custom ordered through The Twelfth Fret during 2008, and has been used professionally. An interesting note about its use and condition is that it’s really only been used in a seated position. Collings supplied a pair of strap pins, which are in the Ameritage case, but as part of the custom order did not drill holes for them or install them.

Rickenbacker 360 FireGlo, 2013

Introduced in 1958 as a Roger Rossmeisl design and available in a variety of colours, the Rickenbacker 360 FireGlo is a distinctive instrument. FireGlo is Rickenbacker’s term for a cherry sunburst. This Rickenbacker 360 FireGlo was built during the first week of January 2013 and is in great overall shape, with only very light finish wear. Fret wear is very light. The heaviest wear is to the ‘Made in USA’ sticker on the upper pickguard!

Eastman T186MX Thinline Hollowbody Classic Sunburst, 2011

The Eastman company builds more arched top instruments than anyone else, and they apply their expertise to thinline archtop electrics like the Eastman T186MX. This model seems largely based on classic thinline hollowbodies like the Casino and ES-330. Featuring solid wood construction, the Eastman T186MX has a solid, carved flame Maple top, solid Mahogany sides and solid mahogany carved back with a support block under the bridge and tailpiece.

Gretsch Broadkaster Jr Player’s Edition Center Block Cadillac Green, 2017

The Gretsch Broadkaster Jr revives one of Gretsch’s older model names, previously used on a drum kit and the reason the Fender Telecaster has its current name. It is unlike many of Gretsch’s traditional models, featuring a compact body, though larger than a Jet, and with a solid center block for feedback rejection and sustain. Not just a reworking of an older model, the Gretsch Broadkaster Jr is both a new design and a seriously good guitar, ready for use in a professional context.

Danelectro 3022 DC2 Thinline Electric Bronze, 1959

In the mid 1950’s, interest in the electric guitar rapidly increased and guitars like the Danelectro 3022 DC2 were built to satisfy the demand. Designed to be inexpensive to produce and buy, tens of thousands of these and related guitars were built for sale through department stores like Sears (under the Silvertone brand), some in the $70 price range. While countless players started with guitars like this, most played for their own satisfaction but some went on to spectacular fame.

Rickenbacker 360/12 Thinline Electric 12 String Fireglo, 2009

Here’s a real beauty – From April 2009 and in very good, all original condition, a Rickenbacker 360/12 in stunning FireGlo! The Rickenbacker 360/12 is an iconic guitar, and attracted top-flight attention from its first release. In fact the second example was gifted to George Harrison in 1964 by Francis C Hall, while the Beatles were in New York for their first US tour. The rest is history!
