Here we have a gently used, very clean Alhambra CS-3-S-E12 Crossover, pairing Cedar with Indian Rosewood and a Fishman transducer set. This lovely, versatile instrument is in very good condition with its original hard shell case. Built by one of Spain’s larger makers, the Alhambra CS-3-S-E12 Crossover was aimed at players generally from the steel string world who need a cutaway, crowned fingerboard and a pickup system.

Godin Multiac Steel Natural HG, 2018

The Godin Multiac Steel is an example of design created to address a practical problem – acoustic feedback at stage volumes. The Multiac series draws from the Gibson Chet Atkins CEC – Cutaway Electric Classical – which allowed Chet to play a nylon string guitar on a full stage without worry of howling feedback. The CEC was followed by steel string versions, but over time they were all removed from production lines.

Gibson A-1 Mandolin Sunburst, 1941

Built during 1941, this Gibson A-1 Mandolin Sunburst was a less expensive model with solid Spruce top and figured Maple back, but with laminate Maple for the sides. The un-bound fingerboard is Rosewood, sourced from Central South America.

Taylor NS64ce Nylon String Cutaway Guitar Natural, 2008

Based on the Grand Auditorium Venetian cutaway body style, the Taylor NS64ce pairs an Engelmann Spruce top with Big Leaf Maple for the sides and back. The neck and body blocks are Mahogany, the radiused fingerboard Ebony, and Cocobolo is used for the bridge and head plate.

Guild D-25-CH Dreadnought Cherry, 1977

Built from 1968 to 1999, the Guild D-25 came in several colours, and from 1976, with a Sitka Spruce instead of Mahogany top. Intended as a lower cost yet quality instrument, it quickly gained acceptance in the Bluegrass community. Reflecting this, its name was changed around 1978 to the Bluegrass D-25.
