   Lowden S12 Spruce Steel String Guitar Natural, 1997

Built during 1997 at Newtonwards, Northern Ireland, this Lowden S12 pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the sides, back and neck. Overall this Lowden S12 is in good condition with light play wear. At some point, the pinless bridge was professionally re-glued. It plays nicely, and is responsive having a well developed voice with plenty of volume and projection.

This Breedlove Premier Parlor Guitar is paired with a Sitka top and Mahogany for the back and sides, was built during 2016 in Bend, Oregon. This discontinued, lovely small bodied guitar is in very good, clean condition and has a full, well balanced tone with plenty of sparkle and warmth. It plays very nicely and is a real sonic pleasure to play.

This Ibanez GB10 George Benson model was built during 2005 for Ibanez by FujiGen Gakki at Matsumoto in the Nagano province of Japan. While most of the GB10’s have been built by FujiGen, during the 1980’s some were built by Terada. The Ibanez George Benson GB10 has been in production since 1977 along with other versions of the model, and they are as practical as when introduced.

The Martin 000-18 is one of Martin’s older designs, first appearing in 1924 and built until 1932, then from 1934 to today. At the end of 1929, the 000 body design was altered to accommodate a 14-fret neck at the request of prominent banjo players – particularly bandleader Perry Bechtel – migrating to guitar, with the ‘new’ design named the OM or Orchestra Model.

This is something special – a Masaru Kohno Special Brazilian Rosewood guitar, at or near the top of his line. The ‘Special’ model was originally named the ‘No.50’ and its bridge has a distinctive forward sweep. Signed by M. Kohno and dated to 1990, this well preserved professional grade instrument features a seven-fan European Spruce top paired with Brazilian Rosewood for the sides, back, heel cap, head plate and bridge.
