Fender Telecaster Maple Neck Sunburst, 1978

Fender Telecaster Maple Neck Sunburst, 1978

Since its introduction as the Broadcaster in 1950 as the world’s first two-pickup, solidbody electric guitar, the Fender Telecaster has gone from strength to strength. It has been used in virtually every musical context that accepts electric instruments, and many musicians have built careers on its use. It’s truly an inspired design. Here we’re looking at a Fender Telecaster Maple Neck in Sunburst finish and largely original condition, built during 1978 in Fullerton, California during the CBS era.

Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster Surf Green, 2016

Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster Surf Green, 2016

Introduced in 1991 after several years of consultation and development, the Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster has a number of features tailored to Beck’s playing style. In particular, the trem system components are selected and adjusted to allow the smoothest string movement and best return to pitch, without going to a full double locking trem system. Here we’re looking at a Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster in very good, clean condition, built during 2016 in Corona California and sporting a Surf Green finish.

Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster Blonde, 2011

Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster Blonde, 2011

The Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster hews closely to the original 1951 design but also brings in meaningful modern improvements. The subtle nature of those improvements gives credit to the genius of Leo Fender’s creation; the most visible changes are a six-saddle bridge, modern staggered-post tuners, micro-tilt RW/RP pickups, medium-high fret wire and a ‘Delta Tone’ no-load tone control circuit.

JC Dorval B Bender T Style Guitar, 2000

JC Dorval B Bender T Style Guitar, 2000

This JC Dorval B Bender T Style guitar was built in 2000 in Quebec, Canada and features a Parsons-White B Bender with the Long Stroke option! We don’t have much information about the builder of this JC Dorval B Bender Tele-style guitar, but it would have been shipped to Gene Parsons for installation of the B-Bender mechanism – the installation is somewhat complex. The body appears to use an Ash core, with Zebrawood for the top and back. The neck is Maple, five pieces lengthwise plus a separate Maple fingerboard, allowing the truss rod to be mounted from the ‘front’ of the neck.
