Harmony Meteor H70 Thinline Archtop Electric Sunburst, 1958

Built from 1958 to 1966, the Harmony Meteor H70 thinline archtop electric was mass produced in Chicago, and popular with many amateur and rising musicians – even appearing on Rolling Stones stages in the hands of Keith Richards. The Meteor H70 was also available as the Meteor H71 – the same guitar, but with a Natural finish instead of sunburst. The largest difference between the Meteor H70 and models like the Rocket H54 is the use of Spruce laminate for the top instead of Maple. This choice gives the guitar a more complex, warmer tone than the Maple top models.

Here is a brand new Douglas Harrison GB Custom with bookmatched, flame Maple top and sunburst finish! Douglas Harrison builds the GB Custom, named after the initial model built for the late Gary Benson, at his shop in Toronto. The GB Custom is a very popular model and shows off Harrison’s skill.

PRS SE Zach Myers Model Trampas Green, 2019

The PRS SE Zach Myers model is a result of a decade-long association between PRS and Zach Myers of the band ‘Shinedown’. A chambered model, the Zach Myers uses the PRS single cut shape, built up of a chambered Mahogany back and carved flame Maple top. The neck is Mahogany and the fingerboard is Rosewood with acrylic PRS Bird inlays. The hardware is as found on the US-made PRS Core models.

Heritage H 525 PTD VSB Thinline Electric, 2007

This Heritage H 525 is a PTD VSB model, built during 2007 at the Heritage plant, 525 Parsons Street Kalamazoo Michigan – the old Gibson facility. The H 525 does not presently appear in Heritage listings on on its website. P T D stands for P90s, Thinline, Dual Pickup, while VSB means ‘Vintage Sun Burst’ (thanks to a customer for clarifying ‘PTD’).
