Larrivee Steel String Guitar Natural, 1974

This Larrivee Steel String brings a bit of Canadian musical history, being an early steel model built during 1974 at Larrivee’s first formal shop, above the Tarragon Theatre near Bathurst and Dupont in Toronto. Jean Larrivee began building at his home around 1967. At that time, if you were interested in building guitars you read the very few books on the subject or met an established builder.

Fender Stratocaster LH Left Handed Maple Neck Black, 1974

Finding a decent vintage Strat is one thing, but finding a 70’s vintage Fender Stratocaster LH Left Handed model can be quite a bit harder. Here we’re looking at one such beast – hailing from 1974 and Fullerton California, a Fender Stratocaster LH Left Handed model in Black, with Maple neck and in overall good condition.

Washburn Falcon Wing Rosewood Top, 1980

Here is a rarity – a neck-through Washburn Falcon Wing with Indian Rosewood top, built in Japan during 1980. The ‘Wing’ series was introduced in 1978 as Washburn’s entry into electric guitars, and this model was built until 1982. This example appears to be in good, largely original condition.

Since its appearance in 1954, the Gibson Les Paul Custom has become a standard for class, elegance, playability and tone. Originally released in ‘Tuxedo’ dress – gloss black finish, white multi-layer binding and gold hardware – the Custom has over the years received sunburst, natural and other custom finishes.

Gibson SG Custom Walnut, 1971

The Gibson SG Custom began its career as a radically re-worked version of the Les Paul Custom, along with the SG Standard. Gibson was faced with poor sales of the original single-cut Les Paul model, and in 1960 began to introduce a much lighter double-cutaway version that allowed unrestricted access to all of the neck.

B.C. Rich Eagle Refinish Natural, 1982

On December 1, 2022 /

Built in Los Angeles during 1982, this refinished B.C. Rich Eagle features Mahogany, Maple and Koa neck-through construction. The center neck-through section is Koa, with Maple strips separating it from the Mahogany wings. The 24-fret fingerboard is Indian Rosewood, with diamond inlays and the upper register access is nearly unrestricted.
