Built from 1955 to 1969, the C. F. Martin D-21 sat between the D-18 and D-28 models. The D-21 used D-18 binding, decoration and rosewood fingerboard and bridge, but brought in the D-28’s rosewood back and sides. This D21 from 1966 is one of the last Martins produced using Brazilian Rosewood.

This D-21 is in good condition, and was built during 1966 at the Martin plant in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. It plays well, and has light wear – it’s been well taken care of. The finish shows some natural, expected lacquer checking and has a few dings, but overall is pretty clean. The original hardshell case is included.
