Marcus Miller is one of the giants of the modern jazz bass, and has relied on – and heavily modified – his Fender Jazz Bass. Fender’s released Marcus Miller signature models incorporating these modifications. The versions made in Japan during the late 1990s are a great deal.

Starting with a standard 1977 Jazz Bass specification, the Marcus Miller model adds a Badass II bridge and an enhanced control layout. There are individual volume controils, active bass boost/cut knob, active treble boost/cut knob, and an active/passive mini toggle switch. The control plate is enlarged to provide access to the 9-volt battery for the active circuitry.

This bass is in excellent condition and plays really well. As with most of the Fender Japan production, production quality is high. A gig bag is included.
