The late Masaru Kohno was one of the world’s most respected classical guitar builders, and is succeeded by his nephew Masaki Sakurai. Masaru Kohno died in Tokyo in 1998.
Here we have a 1996 Kohno Professional R, 650mm scale length and 52mm nut width, Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. It is in nicely used condition – it shows some small scrapes on the top from fingernails but is in otherwise good condition. A TKL hardshell case is included.
