Since its introduction in 1954, the Fender Stratocaster has been immensely popular. The Fender Stratocaster ’58 Reissue Daphne Blue, 1997 Custom Shop ’58 Reissue in Daphne Blue captured the late 1950’s vibe nicely.
Built to 1958 specs and used as intended, this strat is in good working condition, and plays well. As a ’58, it carries gold-plated hardware with the Daphne Blue lacquer finish. And as a 1950’s model, it has a maple fingerboard – rosewood fingerboards were still in Fender’s future, though approaching fast. The original tweed hardshell case is included.
