The Guild Bluesbird first appeared in 1967 as the M-75 with a hollow body. Over the years, it’s become an interpretation of the classic single cut, mahogany and maple solidbody.
Here we have a 1999 Guild Bluesbird, built in Westerly Rhode Island and sporting a very nicely flamed maple top, with a chambered mahogany body and solid maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are Seymour Duncan SH-1’s; Duncan also produced the ‘reissue’ Guild pickups. Fret wear is light, and there’s a small amount of play wear but overall this guitar is in good original condition and comes with the original Guild hardshell case.
