The Maton TE-2 is built in Australia in colllaboration with the spectacular and innovative guitarist Tommy Emmanuel. Maton guitars are relatively unusual in North America, as their distribution network is recent and not large.
Featuring a cutaway dreadnought design with Sitka Spruce top and maple back, sides and neck, this is a thoroughly professional instrument built to deliver. An ASP pickup is built into the bridge. This example dates to September 2006 and is in overall very good condition, and includes a Maton-branded Hiscox flight case.
