The Deering Golden Wreath is a recollection of the banjos of the 1930’s, vibrantly capturing many of the tonal characteristics of those classics. Developed from close analysis of vintage tone rings, flanges and manufacturing methods, these banjos are very well worth looking at. The Golden Wreath is built with mahogany for the neck and resonator, and an unplated Deering -06- 20-Hole Bell Bronze Tone Ring and Violin Grade Maple 3-Ply Violin Grade Maple Rim.

This example was built during 2016 and sold at The Twelfth Fret. It’s in great, original condition with capo tacks installed by Grant MacNeill. The original case is included.

Be sure to watch the video of Jens Kruger examining this spectacular banjo. Note that the instrument he’s playing has just been assembled, and how great it sounds.
