Alastair Miller Spanish T Deep Forest Green, 2018

Here’s a new Alastair Miller Spanish T style guitar, built with a reclaimed Spanish Cedar body, African Wenge neck, and sporting a deep forest green finish.  This guitar features a ‘reliced’ aesthetic. 

Miller frequently uses reclaimed woods in his guitars, as seen in his successful ‘Barncaster’ models built using timbers from an old barn at a family property. Here, Spanish Cedar lumber has been reworked into a T-style body. The neck is African Wenge, sometimes called African Rosewood, with clay dots and vintage style fretwear. Aged Gotoh Kluson-style tuners are installed. The other hardware, including the neck plate, bridge plate and output jack holder also bear an aged look.

For pickups on this Alistair Miller spanish T, a Seymour Duncan Staple-Top AlNiCo P90 single coil is located at the neck. This magnet construction adds a focus and clarity to the full sounding stock P90. The middle and bridge pickups are custom wound by Miller.

A 4 way switch provides the following choices:

1. Neck pickup
2. Neck and Bridge pickups
3. Middle and Bridge in series
4. Bridge pickup

This is a well built, unique guitar, that sounds great and plays quite well.

A rectangular tweed hard shell case is included.
