Alhambra 7FC ZT Flamenco Blanca Left Handed

A Conservatory series model, the Alhambra 7FC ZT is a traditionally built Flamenco Blanca model, with German Spruce top paired with Cypress back and sides. As a Z, it’s Left Handed! The Spanish-style neck is Mahogany, with an Ebony stiffener and Ebony fingerboard. The bridge and headplate are Indian Rosewood.

Typical of Flamenco guitars, the Alhambra 7FC is quite light and extremely responsive. Flamenco setup is often quite low to facilitate fast playing, and this inherently creates some rattling that’s become part of the expected sound. Alhambra provides an extra saddle with these guitars, to allow a more ‘Classical’ and cleaner sound.

A hard shell case is included.

Alhambra describes the 7FC model in these words:

“The Alhambra 7 FC is a white flamenco guitar with a beautiful solid cypress back and sides. Tremendous, genuine, brilliant and percussive are some of the adjectives that define the 7 Fc model by Alhambra Guitars.

An instrument with an impressive flamenco sound, constant tone and definition in the melody. It is also fully balanced, both in power as well as in the relation between bass and treble. It is a very comfortable white flamenco guitar which will meet the demands of a flamenco interpreter.

Besides the solid cypress back and sides and top solid spruce German, this guitar incorporates ebony on the fingerboard, gold plated machine heads and ebony reinforcement on the neck. In the process of making the Alhambra guitars, the ebony reinforcement is placed inside the neck and it is not visible.

The model 7 Fc comes with two saddles with different height, to get a lower or higher action, already adapted to the guitar. A guitar designed to generate the correct buzzing when the guitar player requires it and to allow the greater comfort in the interpretation.
Both, the saddle and the nut are made of melamine, this material is highly conductive of the sound and it helps to balance the sound in the instrument.”
