This Eastman AR-503ce Archtop Cutaway Electric in sunburst, built during 2014 and in very good, clean condition. Generally positioned as a lower cost model, the Eastman AR-503ce uses a traditional full-depth single-cutaway design with arched solid, carved Spruce top, but with laminated Maple for the sides and arched back. Laminated Maple is used in these areas not just to lower production costs, but primarily to add feedback resistance as stage volumes rise. The neck is three pieces of solid Maple for stability, and Ebony is used for the bound head plate, bound fingerboard, pickguard, tailpiece and bridge.
This example is in very good clean condition with just light wear to the frets and finish. While it’s been played, it has also been well cared for.
A Godin TRIC multi-fit case is included.
