Neck	Curly maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard, mother of pearl dot markers.
Frets	Narrow frets, 23 in total.
Body	F-style body, spruce top with curly maple back and sides.
Finish	Classic amber shaded gloss finish, also available in vintage sunburst.
Hardware/electronics	Schettler Reso-Coil pickup, XLR jack for low-impedance output on lower bout. Open back tuning gears with pearloid buttons, ebony bridge, chrome tailpiece.
Playability/Action	Plays very well as new, and of course we will set instruments up to the owner’s requirements.
Case	Rectangular, fitted case with zippered cover included.
Comments	Eastman makes a range of solid, well built and great sounding mandolins and here’s an example of the 615 “F-Style” with a built-in Schertler low-impedance (380 ohms) pickup. It’s ready to plug into a microphone channel on a mixer and compete with the loudest of banjo players or drummers!
