The Fender Rosewood Telecaster ’69 Reissue was built by the Fender Custom Shop during 2007 as a limited release ending December 31 of that year.
Few of the originals were built or sold. The most well known of the Fender Rosewood Telecasters was the one owned by George Harrison, used on the Let It Be album and the ill-fated rooftop concert. Some Rosewood Stratocaster models were also built, one built for but never actually received by Jimi Hendrix.
This Fender Rosewood Telecaster ’69 Reissue is in very good clean condition with negligible wear. The satin natural finish is in good condition, with one or two small marks on the lower edge near the output jack.
Its COA (Certificate of Authenticity) lists a date of September 25, 2007. Along with the COA, copies of the original promo releases are included.
The wood selection on the Fender Rosewood Telecaster is simple – it’s almost entirely Indian Rosewood. The body is built in two slab sections, chambered for weight relief, with a thin center Maple spacer.
The original rectangular blonde tolex hard shell case by G&G is included, and it is in very good condition.
