The G W Barry M Body guitar is a very successful and versatile design based on the classic OM introduced by Martin, with a long scale neck on a 000 sized body.

G W Barry has been building for decades starting with years for Jean Larrivee, and his skill at not only building but also voicing is evident in this 23-year old M body cutaway model.

This particular guitar was recently rebuilt by Barry, with work including a neck reset with fret dress and a neck-off refinish of the top that included a repair to a top crack. The result is that the guitar plays extremely well, and because it had been played thoroughly before the work was done, has a fully developed tone. There is abundant, detailed high and low end representation, and everything in between. The M body is known for providing a very even response throughout the frequency range, making it ideal for fingerstylists.

A Martin-style molded case is included, as is a Sunrise soundhole pickup.
