Gibson Flying V Antique Natural, 2022

Finished in Antique Natural, this 2022 Gibson Flying V is in excellent condition with only the very lightest wear. Following closely to the simplified, reissue style V appointments, this is a great rock or blues guitar. it is very resonant and, as a bonus, one of the lightest production solidbody electrics.

Construction of the Flying V is very simple. Three pieces of Mahogany are joined into a V shape, and a Mahogany neck with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard is added. A set of Grover Roto-Matics are at the head pairing with a standard Gibson ABR style bridge and stop tailpiece set at the body. The headstock features a Gibson logo in Mother of Pearl. it is a very simple, effective design.

Currently, the Gibson Flying V stock electronics involve a Burstbucker 2 at the neck, Burstbucker 3 at the bridge (here replaced and without cover), a pickup selector, individual pickup volumes, master tone, and an output jack. The controls and output jack are all top-mounted to the reduced-size single layer black pickguard. The finish is of course Nitrocellulose lacquer in an Antique Natural tint.

This very clean Gibson Flying V dates to July 25 2022 at Gibson Nashville. It is in excellent, nearly new condition, all original except for the uncovered bridge pickup,
