The Ibanez MM1 Martin Miller Signature model is part of the Prestige line and features a Flame Maple cap on a Mahogany body with a Roasted Maple neck and stainless steel frets. Ibanez Prestige models are built in Japan from the highest quality components and materials, and it’s hard to find any better production guitars anywhere.
Here we’re looking at an Ibanez MM1 Martin Miller Signature model in Translucent Aqua Blue, dating to April 2018 and built for Ibanez by FugjiGen Gakki at Nagano, Japan. It’s a very good looking guitar in great condition, with very little wear of any kind. Fret wear in particular is negligible, partly because Stainless Steel fret wire does not typically wear quickly.
The body is Mahogany with a Flame Maple cap, and the neck is Roasted Maple. Gotoh supplies the locking tuners and T1802 bridge with Titanium saddles. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers. The wiring includes master Volume and Tone controls, a 5-way switch and a two-position ‘Alter’ switch. The ‘Alter’ switch modifies which coils are present to the 5-way switch, allowing a wide range of combinations.
The original Ibanez molded hard shell case is included.
Martin Miller is from Leipzig in the former East Germany and in 2010 received a degree from Carl Maria Von Weber College of Music in Dresden, with majors in music education and instrumental rock/pop/jazz. He also has signature pedals from TC Electronics. The attached video is very much worth checking out!
