The Larrivee F-33 Mandolin, a finely crafted instrument, was meticulously built in Oxnard, California, starting from the mid-2000s and remained in production until approximately 2012.
Drawing from the classic F-style mandolin but with a somewhat distinctive scroll and body shape, the Larrivee F-33 pairs a hand carved and voiced Spruce top with hand carved Flame Maple back and sides. The neck is Maple, with Ebony for the fingerboard, bridge and head plate. The Larrivee logo is Mother of Pearl and the position markers are small metal dots. The body and neck have creme binding, and the tuners and tailpiece are gold plated.
This Larrivee F-33 dates to February 17, 2009 and is in very good, clean and original condition with only the lightest wear.
The original rectangular, arched top chard shell case is included.
